She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Concordia University in April 2023. While grounded in photographic practice, her work extends beyond the medium, engaging with visual storytelling, research, and conceptual exploration centered on themes of belonging, familiarity, and self-image.
Astolfi’s portfolio encompasses landscapes, portraits, and observational studies that function as a deeply personal archive. Working across both digital and analog processes, she approaches image-making as a tool for inquiry as much as documentation. Alongside her personal work, she is particularly drawn to documentary practices that examine suburban environments, overlooked spaces, and material traces of everyday life. Her visual language favors subtlety, often expressed through black-and-white imagery and soft, muted color palettes that foreground atmosphere and quiet tension.
Her practice explores the intersections of identity, place, and memory, positioning photography as one element within a broader creative framework. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Art and Cultural Management at École EAC in Paris, expanding the curatorial, theoretical, and organizational dimensions of her engagement with contemporary art and design.
